Trevor Yancey turned in yet another pitching appearance with fewer than two earned runs surrendered on Tuesday. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over seven innings pitched. He was dominant the last time he took on Cannon back in April of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Yancey also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Providence Day is 4-2 when he allows at most three earned runs, but 7-8 otherwise.
