Lakeland never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past the Mott Corsairs 15-0. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won 11 matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Lakeland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 18-7-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mott, their loss was their 24th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-26.
