Basketball Recap: Thetford Academy Comes Up Short

Thetford Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They were dealt a 62-27 loss at the hands of the Lamoille Lancers. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Vermont basketball rankings (they are ranked 45th, while the Lancers are ranked third).

Thetford Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-16. As for Lamoille, the win (which was their tenth in a row) raised their record to 19-3.

As of now, neither Thetford Academy nor Lamoille have any future games scheduled.
