Soccer Recap: Maranatha Triumphs

After losing to Temple City the last time they met, Maranatha decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Maranatha Minutemen sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Temple City Rams on Friday.

Maranatha now has a winning record of 4-3-1. As for Temple City, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-3-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing La Canada the next time they take the pitch. Temple City will head out to face La Canada at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, while Maranatha will play them later in the day, at 4:30 p.m.
