DeKalb and Harlem are an even 2-2-2 against one another since March of 2017, but likely not for long. The Barbs will welcome the Huskies at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. DeKalb has now lost nine straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since March 25.

On Saturday, DeKalb came up short against Elgin and fell 3-1. While losing is never fun, DeKalb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois soccer rankings (they are ranked 299th, while Elgin are ranked 65th).

DeKalb's goal came courtesy of Emily Aburto, which was the first she's scored this season.

Meanwhile, Harlem unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Monday. They and Rockford Christian finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw. The result kept Harlem happy, as they haven't lost a game since April 21st.

Harlem's draw makes their record 10-4-1 this season. As for DeKalb, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-12.
