Softball Recap: St. Georges Tech Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Woodbridge, St. Georges Tech was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 23-12 margin over the Brandywine Bulldogs. The victory continues a trend for the Hawks in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won seven in a row.

St. Georges Tech's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for Brandywine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. It'll be a Battle of the Birds when St. Georges Tech Hawks duke it out with Hodgson Vo-Tech Eagles at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brandywine, they will take on ASPIRA Charter at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. The Bulldogs are facing the Wolves at the right time seeing as the Wolves are stuck on a three-game losing streak.
