Basketball Recap: White Creek Christian Academy Gets the Win

If North Georgia HomeSchool wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played White Creek Christian Academy, they should've done a better job of containing Maximus Whitmire. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 59-39 margin over the Tribe on Thursday thanks in part to Whitmire, who almost dropped a triple-double with 26 points, nine boards, and ten assists. He has been hot recently, having posted nine or more rebounds the last three times he's played.

The victory got White Creek Christian Academy back to even at 1-1. As for North Georgia HomeSchool, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-3.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. White Creek Christian Academy is set to challenge their familiar foe Barnes Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, North Georgia HomeSchool will face off against rival William & Reed Academy at 5:45 p.m. on Tuesday.
