Basketball Recap: Shelby Valley Comes Up Short

Shelby Valley lost against Pikeville last Wednesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Shelby Valley Wildcats lost 77-51 to the Pikeville Panthers. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Shelby Valley's loss dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Pikeville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 15 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

Shelby Valley has already played their next game (against Prestonsburg), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Pikeville, they will take on Hazard at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
