Volleyball Recap: Sulphur Springs Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Sulphur Springs duked it out with Van Alstyne on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Panthers.

Sulphur Springs' loss dropped their record down to 9-4. As for Van Alstyne, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-4.

Looking ahead, Sulphur Springs will challenge Canton at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wildcats are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Van Alstyne, they are on the road again on Saturday to play Gunter at 11:45 a.m.
