Armwood scored three straight touchdowns on a 66-yard pass from Darryl Richardson to Alvin Bailey and runs of 12 and 2 yards by Wayne Edwards to beat Bishop Gorman. Shaquille Powell had one touchdown run of 1 yard and Jarrett Solomon had a touchdown run of 2 yards for the Gaels.

Matt Hawkins had a 45-yard run, Brandon Reeves scored on a 14-yard run and Kailahi Kautai had a 22-yard scoring run for Trinity. Enrique Oquendo also caught a 22-yard pass from Kautai.

Monterey Trail (Elk Grove, Calif.) - 6
Quarterback Cody Demps accounted for three touchdowns - two passing - and Mark Jenkins rushed for 87 yards and a score as Pleasant Grove overcame slow start to score the game's final 35 points.

Jordan Thompson caught TD passes of 24 and 38 yards form Brooks Haack, who also scored on runs of 10 and 1 yard for Katy. Jeff Johnson added field goals of 24 and 38 yards.

Johnathan Gray ran for 219 yards on 27 carries and four touchdowns of 1, 11, 58 and 9 yards, but it wasn't enough for Aledo. Matthew Bishop completed 17 of 22 passes for 230 yards and two scores for Aledo, but Stephenville received 242 yards passing (21 of 28) and three touchdowns by Tyler Jones and 221 yards on 26 carries and one score by Aiavion Edwards.
