Soccer Game Preview: Humphreys Able Charter vs. River Islands

The Humphreys Able Charter Legacy will head out on the road to face off against the River Islands Riptide at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. River Islands took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Humphreys Able Charter, who comes in off a win.

While Humphreys Able Charter fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Wednesday's season opener. They came out on top against Delta Charter by a score of 4-2 back in December of 2024. The Legacy found success even though the refs didn't miss a thing: three Humphreys Able Charter players were handed yellow cards.

They hit Delta Charter with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Omar Juarez (2), Osvaldo Marquez, and Kaleb Cossio.

Meanwhile, River Islands was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 9-1 to Riverbank. Things were pretty much settled by the half as the Riptide were already down 6-0.
