It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Memorial ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Kenton Wildcats 4-3. The Roughriders haven't had any issues with the Wildcats recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Memorial's record now sits at 11-6. As for Kenton, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-12.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Memorial will square off against Marion Local at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Roughriders' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Flyers have averaged an impressive 7.3 runs per game this season. As for Kenton, they will challenge Arlington at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
