Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask South). They blew past the Lorain Titans 17-0 on Wednesday. With that win, the Rebels brought their scoring average up to 6.2 runs per game.
The team relied heavily on Casey Heil, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one triple. Those three runs gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Summer Bliss (Lake Erie College), who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: South kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 16 hits. They are 5-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
