Winfield has gone a perfect 3-0 against Lincoln County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Generals will be playing at home against the Panthers at 5:30 p.m. The timing is sure in Winfield's favor as the squad sits on 13 straight wins at home (dating back to last season) while Lincoln County has been banged up by five consecutive losses on the road.

Winfield is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of West Virginia's top teams: Cabell Midland, who was ranked fourth at the time (Winfield was ranked 13th). The Generals fell just short of the Knights by a score of 2-1 on Thursday.

In an exciting match in which no team claimed back-to-back wins, Winfield sadly wound up on the wrong side. The final score came out to 25-14, 16-25, 15-6.

Meanwhile, Lincoln County lost 3-0 to Ripley on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-16.

Winfield's defeat dropped their record down to 16-6-2. As for Lincoln County, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14-1.

Winfield was able to grind out a solid victory over Lincoln County when the teams last played on September 4th, winning 2-0. Will the Generals repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
