Volleyball Recap: Parkway West Takes a Loss

Parkway West was the 2-0 winner over Oakville when they last played one another on Thursday, but their luck changed this time around. The Longhorns took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers on Saturday.

Oakville can attribute much of their success to Julia Stroup, who had ten digs and three assists.

Parkway West has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-6-1 record this season. As for Oakville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 11-12-1.

Parkway West wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 loss against Rockwood Summit on the 30th. As for Oakville, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 defeat against Jackson on the 30th.
