Soccer Recap: Ashley Hall Takes a Loss

After soaring to five goals the game before, Ashley Hall was a bit more limited in their match on Monday. They fell just short of the John Paul II Golden Warrriors by a score of 2-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against John Paul II this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 8-0 back in February.

Ashley Hall's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for John Paul II, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Ashley Hall is set to challenge their familiar foe Hilton Head Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, John Paul II will take on rival First Baptist School at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
