Softball Game Preview: Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders vs. Clearfield Bison

The Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders will venture away from home to take on the Clearfield Bison at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Bishop Guilfoyle's offense. They lost 13-0 to Philipsburg-Osceola on Wednesday. The Marauders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Clearfield came up short against Bellefonte on Thursday and fell 9-4. The loss continues a trend for the Bison in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost five in a row.

Eve Siegel was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Haley Billotte was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one double.

Bishop Guilfoyle's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Clearfield, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
