Softball Game Preview: Oak Hill Oaks vs. River Valley Raiders

The Oak Hill Oaks will venture away from home to face off against the River Valley Raiders at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with four consecutive losses apiece.

South Webster hit Oak Hill with a four-run fifth inning on Friday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Oaks lost 10-0 to the Jeeps.

Oak Hill saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Bristol Stickley, who went 1-for-2 with one double.

Meanwhile, River Valley fell victim to Wellston and their airtight pitching crew on Monday. They came up short against the Golden Rockets, falling 16-0.

River Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 2-9. As for Oak Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

Oak Hill suffered a grim 24-11 defeat to River Valley in their previous matchup back in April of 2023. Can the Oaks avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
