Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Sophia Cale and Abby Louk Lead South Harrison to Victory

South Harrison waltzed into their match on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the East Fairmont Bees. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Hawks also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

South Harrison easily took the second set, but they let things get interesting in the other. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-14.

Leading South Harrison to victory were Abby Louk and Sophia Cale. Louk had three digs and three aces, while Cale had five digs. Louk is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as she's now posted 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

South Harrison's victory bumped their record up to 13-5. As for East Fairmont, they are on a 17-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-26.

South Harrison didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Keyser on the 27th. As for East Fairmont, they will face off against Philip Barbour at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
