Softball Recap: Paulding Comes Up Short

Paulding fell victim to Bryan and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They lost 11-0 to the Golden Bears. The Panthers have struggled against the Golden Bears recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Paulding's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Bryan, their win was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Paulding will square off against Patrick Henry at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 13.8 runs per game this season. As for Bryan, they will face off against Edgerton at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bulldogs will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Golden Bears surely won't give up without a fight.
