Volleyball Recap: Central Gets the Win

Central lost to Boca Raton back in September of 2023, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Saturday. The Cobras came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bobcats, sneaking past 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cobras.

Among those leading the charge was Yasmin Berres, who had nine digs and three aces. That's the most aces she has posted since September 2nd. Another player making a difference was Alexis Clements, who had six digs and two aces.

Central's victory bumped their record up to 8-9. As for Boca Raton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-9 record this season.

Central didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Westwood on the 29th. As for Boca Raton, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against King's Academy on the 30th.
