Recap: Perry Hall Gators vs. Eastern Tech Mavericks
The Perry Hall Gators took a 25-point defeat the last time they faced off against the Eastern Tech Mavericks, but they managed to turn things around on Friday. Perry Hall had just enough and edged Eastern Tech out 53-50. The victory was nothing new for Perry Hall as they're now sitting on three straight.
Several Mavericks players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brian James Jr, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points James Jr has scored all season. Prabhnoor Singh was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with seven rebounds.
Perry Hall's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Eastern Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.
Perry Hall will be staying on the road on Wednesday to face off against Patapsco on January 31st. Patapsco is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak. As for Eastern Tech, they will head out on the road to face off against Western Tech & Environmental Science at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Western Tech & Environmental Science is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home.
