Softball Recap: Bearden Comes Up Short

Bearden lost against West on March 11th, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Bearden fell 8-3 to West. The Bulldogs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kendyl May made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-2. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.

Bearden's defeat dropped their record down to 3-6. As for West, the victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 3-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bearden will face off against William Blount at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for West, they will take on Oak Ridge at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
