Baseball Recap: Triumph Charter Sets Scoring Season-High Against Bert Corona Charter

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Triumph Charter). They were the clear victors by a 23-6 margin over the Bert Corona Charter Knights on Wednesday. The Jaguars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by ten runs or more this season.

The team relied heavily on Gabriel Gonzales, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. That's the most runs he has posted since back in March of 2024. Richard Reyes was another key player, scoring four runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-4.

The win made it two in a row for Triumph Charter and bumps their season record up to 5-5. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 17.5 runs over those games. As for Bert Corona Charter, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
