Given the Braves' advantage in MaxPreps' Montana basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Spartans are ranked 138th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Lame Deer strolled past Colstrip with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 84-67. The Morning Stars haven't had any issues with the Colts recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Lame Deer's win bumped their record up to 14-7. As for St. Labre Indian Catholic, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season.
