Softball Recap: Clarksdale Takes a Loss

Clarksdale fell victim to New Hope and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They came up short against the Trojans, falling 24-0. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured five losses in a row.

Clarksdale's defeat dropped their record down to 5-8. As for New Hope, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-6.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clarksdale is set to challenge their familiar foe West Point at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, New Hope will face off against rival Corinth at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
