Basketball Recap: Hill-McCloy Comes Up Short

Hill-McCloy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 48-41 to the Genesee Wolves. If the Rams were looking for revenge after losing 57-53 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Averie Zinn was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 35 points and 12 rebounds for Genesee. The game was Zinn's 20th in a row with at least ten points. Reginae Randle was another key player, putting up six points and seven rebounds.

Hill-McCloy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Genesee, their victory bumped their record up to 3-1.

Hill-McCloy will look to defend their home court on Friday against Durand at 6:00 p.m. Genesee and International Academy will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
