Baseball Recap: Mcpherson's Undefeated Season over After 15 Games

McPherson blew Mulvane out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Thursday Mulvane got their revenge. The Bullpups fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 2-0. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Bullpups' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Logan Beede was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in April of 2024.

At the plate, McPherson saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ian Razak, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Having lost for the first time this season, McPherson fell to 14-1. As for Mulvane, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 10-2-2.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: McPherson beat the Wildcats by a score of 10-4 later that day.
