It was fun while it lasted, but Las Vegas's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Saturday. They fell just short of the Sierra Vista Mountain Lions by a score of 1-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Wildcats were not able to get on the board.

Las Vegas got a good showing from ANDREW PADILLA, who tossed 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Las Vegas saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was HUNTER IVERSON, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Having lost for the first time this season, Las Vegas fell to 6-1. As for Sierra Vista, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-5.

Looking ahead, Las Vegas will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Rancho at 3:30 p.m. As for Sierra Vista, they will challenge Southeast Career Tech at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
