Baseball Game Preview: Gonzaga Prep Bullpups vs. Lewis & Clark Tigers

For the second straight game, Gonzaga Prep will face off against Lewis & Clark. The Bullpups will host the Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Gonzaga Prep is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1 runs per game this season.

On Monday, Gonzaga Prep got the win against Lewis & Clark by a conclusive 9-3. The Bullpups might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matchups by six runs or more this season.

Jackson Mott was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run and three RBI. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Nate Moinette, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Gonzaga Prep kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 15 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in eight consecutive contests.

Gonzaga Prep pushed their record up to 11-3 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.0 runs over those games. As for Lewis & Clark, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.
