Football Game Preview: Upperman Bees vs. Macon County Tigers

It was another big night for Bronzdon Chaffin, who rushed for 80 yards and two TDs, and also threw for 263 yards and a pair of touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes. Those 263 passing yards gave him a new career-high. Elijah Fitts was Chaffin's top target, picking up 92 receiving yards and two scores.

Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Macon County challenged Livingston Academy on Friday. The Tigers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Wildcats 28-26. The victory continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won six in a row.

Upperman's win bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Macon County, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 7-2.
