Flag Football Recap: Naperville Central Comes Up Short in High-Profile Contest with Benet Academy

Naperville Central faced Benet Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Redhawks were just a hair shy of victory and fell 20-19 to the Redwings.

Naperville Central's defeat dropped their record down to 9-3. As for Benet Academy, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

Naperville Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 14-13 win against Marist on the 27th. Benet Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
