Volleyball Recap: Hampton Roads Academy Triumphs

Hampton Roads Academy not only won on Wednesday, but they posted their biggest win since September 27, 2024 (when they won 3-0). They put the hurt on the Saint Gertrude Gators with a sharp 3-0 win. This was payback for the Navigators, who suffered a 3-1 loss the last time these two teams met.

Hampton Roads Academy's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Saint Gertrude, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-8 record this season.

Hampton Roads Academy will face off against Peninsula Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Saint Gertrude, they will square off against St. Anne's-Belfield at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
