Volleyball Recap: Mathews Mustangs vs. Bloomfield Cardinals
Mathews lost to Bloomfield back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The Mustangs came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 3-1.

Mathews was led to victory by MACI DARLINGTON and HUNTER RAMSEY. DARLINGTON had 22 digs, while RAMSEY had 15 digs, 12 kills, and one block. DARLINGTON is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last seven games she's played. AVA SWESEY also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
Mathews was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 15 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least eight aces in three consecutive matches.
