Baseball Recap: San Angelo Central's Loss Ends Five-Game Winning Streak on the Road

San Angelo Central lost against Midland Legacy back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The San Angelo Central Bobcats came up short against the Midland Legacy Rebels, falling 14-1.

San Angelo Central's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Midland Legacy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-8-1.

While San Angelo Central had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
