Volleyball Recap: Lowell Catholic Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Lowell Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Dracut Middies, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Middies this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on October 6th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-13, 25-18, 25-9.

Leading Dracut to victory were Chloe Germain and Kelsey Hudon. Germain had five aces, while Hudon had ten assists and three digs. Those five aces gave Germain a new career-high. Kyra Dagoumas also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Lowell Catholic's loss dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Dracut, their record now sits at 8-11.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matches. Lowell Catholic will head out to take on Bay Path RVT at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday. As for Dracut, they will venture away from home to face off against Greater Lowell Tech at 5:15 p.m. on Friday.
