Recap: Rancho Bernardo Broncos vs. Sage Creek Bobcats
The Rancho Bernardo Broncos were the 20-0 winner over the Sage Creek Bobcats when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Rancho Bernardo took a serious blow against Sage Creek on Wednesday, falling 61-30.
Sage Creek was led to victory by Elijah Stephens and Elias Samady. Stephens dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds, while Samady scored 23 points. The match was Stephens' sixth in a row with at least ten points. Tegan Olson was another key contributor, scoring 7 points.
Rancho Bernardo's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Sage Creek, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rancho Bernardo will take on Mt. Carmel at 7:30 p.m. on December 8th. As for Sage Creek, they will be playing at home against Oceanside at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
