West Washington entered their tilt with Salem on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They walked away with a 21-14 victory over the Lions. For the Senators, this counts as revenge for the 34-7 win the Lions walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2024.

Salem's loss came despite strong showings from Caris Moore and Logan Dent. Moore rushed for 134 yards while picking up 7.4 yards per carry, while Dent rushed for 86 yards and one score. Moore has become a key player for the Lions: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 100 rushing yards, but 2-4 otherwise.

West Washington now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Salem, they now have a losing record of 4-5.
