Pioneer's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Giorgio Tavernakis, who shot 63% from the field on his way to 16 points and seven rebounds. Another player making a difference was Kai Mody, who made all 5 shots he took for 13 points.

South's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gavin Christian led the charge by dropping a double-double with 19 points and 14 boards.
