Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Wayne walked away with it. They walked away with a 47-36 win over the Whitehorse Raiders on Thursday. The victory continues a trend for the Badgers in their matchups with the Raiders: they've now won three in a row.

Wayne got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Raegyn Blackburn out in front who shot 42% from the field on her way to 18 points. Thanks to that strong game, Blackburn now owns an excellent 41.4% three-point shooting accuracy. Makayla Jones was another key player, putting up eight points along with 14 rebounds and four steals.

Whitehorse lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Keiarra Martin, who posted ten points. What's more, she posted two steals, the most she's had since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Heidi Clark, who had 11 points.

Wayne's record is now 17-5. As for Whitehorse, they moved to 16-5 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.
