Basketball Recap: Cedar Hill Comes Up Short

Cedar Hill was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-60 heartbreaker at the hands of the Skyline Raiders. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Longhorns came into the match with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 152nd, while the Raiders are ranked 450th).

Cedar Hill's defeat dropped their record down to 18-16. As for Skyline, their win bumped their record up to 10-21.

When Cedar Hill and Skyline next hit the court, they'll be up against teams who recently just can't seem to lose. Cedar Hill will face off against Lancaster and their 15-game winning streak at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Similarly, Skyline will try to stop Duncanville's four-game winning streak when the meet at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
