Recap: Carlin Railroaders vs. Owyhee Braves
On Thursday, The Carlin Railroaders faced the Owyhee Braves in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Carlin simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Owyhee 54-26 at home. The win made it back-to-back wins for Carlin.
Carlin's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Leo Krantz, who threw for 241 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 12.1 yards per attempt. Another player making a difference was Jordan Vicente, who gained 235 total yards.
Carlin's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB four times. The heavy lifting was done by Sebastian Anthony and Krantz who racked up four sacks between them.
Carlin's win bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Owyhee, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 1-7.
Carlin does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Owyhee also has no future games currently scheduled.
