Softball Recap: Bellevue East Chieftains vs. Norfolk Panthers
On Thursday, Bellevue East faced Norfolk in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Bellevue East didn't let batters stay on the plate for long and finished the game with 15 strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Norfolk only tossed four.
Bellevue East's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 23-8. As for Norfolk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 25-13.
