It was a good run, but Halifax unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell to the Tri-Valley Bulldogs 49-45. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 49-35 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2023.

Halifax's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-3. As for Tri-Valley, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-2.

Halifax and Tri-Valley should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Pennsylvania Rankings. Halifax (ranked 145th) will meet Juniata (ranked 569th) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Similarly, Tri-Valley will face off against Williams Valley at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 280 places (191 vs. 471).
