It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Westerville South can now relate to. They took a 62-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Big Walnut Golden Eagles on Saturday. The Wildcats' defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.

Ariyana Cradle and Cirrye White certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Cradle dropped a double-double with 19 points and 13 boards, while White posted 19 points. Those 13 rebounds gave Cradle a new career-high.

Even though they lost, Westerville South smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Westerville South's loss dropped their record down to 21-6. As for Big Walnut, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 14 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-3 record this season.
