Lamar can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They never let the West Fork Tigers get on the board and left with a 5-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 7-1 back in March.

The result came thanks to Jody Humphrey's shutout, as he gave up just three hits and racked up seven Ks.

At the plate, Lamar's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Zaxton Aldridge, who scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave Aldridge a new career-high.

Lamar's win bumped their record up to 6-8. As for West Fork, they now have a losing record of 5-6.

Coming up, Lamar will head out on the road to face off against Lavaca at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for West Fork, they will host Elkins at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
