Football Recap: Coeur D'alene Skates Past Life Christian Academy with Ease

Coeur d'Alene waltzed into their game on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Life Christian Academy Eagles 41-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Vikings' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' football rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 14th in Idaho, while the Eagles are ranked 102nd in Washington).

Coeur d'Alene was led to victory by Ty Paulin and Tannar Stern. Paulin gained 139 total yards and two touchdowns, while Stern threw for 181 yards and two TDs. Stern's passing game has become a key predictor of the Vikings' success: the team is undefeated when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 1-3 otherwise. Maddox Lindquist got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.
