Alyssa Harris was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out 15 batters over six innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 15 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Lila Schmidt, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Nadia Flaherty, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI.
Enumclaw was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .393. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .348 or higher in three consecutive matchups.
Enumclaw's win was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 19-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.4 runs on average over those games. As for Heritage, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-12 record this season.
