Basketball Recap: Eagle Mountain Takes a Loss

Eagle Mountain was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 77-46 defeat at the hands of the Krum Bobcats. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 510th, while the Bobcats are ranked 239th).

Eagle Mountain now has a losing record at 8-9. As for Krum, they pushed their record up to 13-8 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Eagle Mountain will challenge Springtown at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Krum, they will face off against Bridgeport at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Krum knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Bridgeport likes a good challenge.
