Soccer Game Preview: South Walton vs. Bay

The South Walton Seahawks will venture away from home to take on the Bay Tornadoes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. South Walton will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Last Friday, South Walton beat North Bay Haven Academy 3-1. Given the Seahawks' advantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 84th, while the Buccaneers are ranked 217th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Walton hit North Bay Haven Academy with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Michael Codner, Gavin Wilde, and Ryder Devore.

Meanwhile, Bay has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They lost 8-0 to Arnold on Friday.

South Walton's win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-2-2. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 31 goals over those five matchups. As for Bay, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-11-1.
